American Drivers not vacinated banned from Canada

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~  January 13, 2022  (LSNews)  This morning we said the federal government is backing down from mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for cross-border Canadian truckers.

Well it has changed again:
Truck drivers crossing into Canada from the United States will indeed need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 starting Saturday, despite a statement sent “in error” from the Canada Border Services Agency late Wednesday appearing to reverse course on the mandate.

The Supreme Court on Thursday blocked President Joe Biden's vaccine and testing requirement aimed at large businesses, but it allowed a vaccine mandate for certain health care workers to go into effect nationwide.

The decision is a huge hit to Biden's attempts to use the power of the federal government to fight the Covid-19 pandemic

However, still apply to unvaccinated or partially vaccinated foreign nationals, including American truck drivers starting this Saturday

At this time it is sure of how many American Truck Drivers who are not vaccinated come into Canada each day to bring American food to Canadians. 
Those truckers will be forced to turn back to the U.S. . 

“We’re going to see prices skyrocket for groceries, for everything, if we see tens of thousands of truckers unemployed,” Conservative Party leader Erin O’Toole said last week in criticism of the government policy. He suggested there could be “reasonable accommodations” like regular testing.

  With fewer drivers on the road to deliver goods from the U.S., expect emptier store shelves in the near future,
